This is for the everyday visionaries who refuse to settle, who see ‘no’ as a challenge, and who are ready to push the entertainment industry into a whole new stratosphere.

XIO Studios was founded by Fatima Deme, a devoted fan of cinema and the arts. The idea was born in the middle of a long-winded math lecture during her senior year of high school. While her classmates took notes, Fatima found herself sketching and scribbling stories, letting her mind drift far beyond the classroom. That afternoon, a wave of ideas hit her worlds, characters, and emotions too vivid to ignore. She knew, then and there, she would build her own studio to bring them to life. She started jotting down names: United Studios? No. Deme Studios? Nah. Xiomara Studios? Ehh... And then it hit her. XIO Studios. Oh yeah!
After high school, Fatima Deme dedicated the next few years to exploring, learning, and creating. She worked tirelessly out of her garage—writing screenplays and novels, composing music, and breathing life into a cast of original characters. In February 2022, she began working at the one and only Laika Studios, a powerhouse in the animation industry known for its commitment to original storytelling and exquisite artistry, values she deeply shares. Her time there was transformative. She soaked in the beauty of true craftsmanship, observing how detail, patience, and what a studio that values storytelling was really like.
Now, it’s time to bring this collection of work to life. Fatima Deme is officially launching these stories, starting with comics, then expanding into animation, films, and so much more. At XIO Studios, we believe every story deserves the form that fits it best. Whether that’s a panel, a frame, or a full-length feature, we follow the story wherever it leads.
